Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes which personal data the Memory QR project collects, for what purpose it processes them and how it protects them when you use the website https://memory-qr.com.ua and order the service of creating a digital memorial.
The data controller is Individual Entrepreneur Larichev Denys Vasilyevich (Tax ID 3555008913), hereinafter — "We" or the "Service". Data is processed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection". The terms of the service are set out in the Public Offer.
1. What data we collect
Account and customer data: first name, last name, email address, phone number, and a password stored in hashed form. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and Google account identifier (your password is not shared).
Memorial data: information about the deceased person (full name, dates of life, biography, photos, video, audio) that you provide voluntarily to create a memorial page.
Order and payment data: order number and status, amount, payment date, and refund status. We do not collect or store payment card details — they are entered on the secure page of the LiqPay payment service (JSC CB "PrivatBank").
Technical data: IP address, browser type and technical cookies collected automatically for the correct and secure operation of the website.
2. Purpose and legal basis of processing
Your data is processed exclusively to:
2.1. create and maintain your account and authenticate you in the personal cabinet;
2.2. place and fulfil the order for the creation of a QR memorial;
2.3. process payment and, where necessary, refunds via the LiqPay payment service;
2.4. communicate with you (email or phone) about order details and technical support;
2.5. store and display the memorial page at your request;
2.6. comply with the tax, accounting and other legislation of Ukraine.
The legal basis for processing is the consent you provide (when registering, placing an order or proceeding to payment) and the necessity to perform a contract to which you are a party.
3. Payment and refunds
3.1. Payment is made via LiqPay. To process a payment we pass LiqPay only the data necessary for the transaction (amount, order number, contact email).
3.2. You may withdraw from the service and receive a full refund within 14 calendar days of the payment date — using the "Request a refund" button in your personal cabinet or by contacting us. Upon a refund the relevant memorial page is deactivated and access to it and the QR code stops. The order and refund record is retained for accounting purposes.
3.3. A memorial deactivated after a refund can later be restored by paying again — the same page is restored (the same QR code and link), without creating a new one. Full terms are in the Public Offer (Section 8).
4. Storage and security
4.1. Data is stored in a database on a secure server of a Ukrainian hosting provider. Passwords are stored solely in hashed form.
4.2. Account data and data of an active memorial are kept for the entire duration of the service's operation to ensure continuous access to the memorial page. Order and payment data are kept for the periods required by law for primary accounting documents.
4.3. Only authorised administrators of the Service have access to your data — for technical support and order fulfilment.
5. Managing your data in the personal cabinet
5.1. In your personal cabinet, on the "My memorials" page, you can on your own: edit the memorial's content, manage its visibility, upload and delete media files, request a refund and restore a deactivated memorial.
5.2. You have the right to contact us at any time to amend or fully delete your personal data and memorial content. Deleting your account stops the processing of your data, except for data we are required to retain by law.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third-party companies for commercial purposes. Disclosure is possible only to:
6.1. the payment service LiqPay (JSC CB "PrivatBank") — to the extent necessary to process a payment or refund;
6.2. Google — only if you have chosen to sign in with Google yourself (processed under Google's policy);
6.3. authorised state authorities upon request, in cases expressly provided for by the legislation of Ukraine.
7. Public nature of memorial pages
7.1. A memorial page is intended to be viewed by others via a QR code or direct link, so the information placed on it is public by default. You decide the scope of such information yourself.
7.2. Memorial pages are hidden from search engine indexing (Google, Bing, etc.) — access is only via a direct link or QR code.
8. Use of cookies
The website uses technical and session cookies necessary for its stable and secure operation and to maintain your session in the personal cabinet. These files are not used for advertising tracking.
9. Your rights
In accordance with Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", you have the right to: know the sources and purpose of data collection, obtain information about the conditions of access to it, request its amendment, clarification or deletion, and withdraw consent previously given. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always posted on this page; by clicking "Submit" or "Proceed to payment", you confirm your agreement with its current version.
